Lombard Cruise Nights and Summer Concerts, presented by Tommys Express Car Wash, returns for its 27th season in Downtown Lombard. This free summer tradition runs on Saturdays from June 13 through August 22, with the exception of July 4. Events take place from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., featuring live music from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a classic car show during the first nine dates along South Park Avenue. Special guests and activities vary weekly, including visits from the local fire and police departments, historical society, and library on select dates. The concert lineup includes Karla and The Phat Cats on June 13, Throwbacks on June 20, The Chain on June 27, Reckless on July 11, Ethan Bell on July 18, Rocks Off on July 25, Gooroos on August 1, Murley on August 8, and the Blooze Brothers on August 15. The series concludes on August 22 with a concert-only finale featuring Hi Infidelity on St. Charles Road. This final event has an expanded layout and will not include a car show. Families can visit the Kids Corner on North Park Avenue from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. for free crafts, face painting, magicians, and balloon artists. Popcorn will be available for purchase to benefit the Shop With A Cop program. Classic and custom cars are welcome with no registration required. Cruiser parking begins at 4 p.m. on St. Charles Road and designated downtown lots. To respect local businesses, cars parked before 4 p.m. are subject to ticketing. Note that the 126 West St. Charles Road lot and North Park Avenue are not available for cruise cars this year. Attendees may set up chairs starting at 5 p.m. for standard nights or 4 p.m. for the finale. General parking is available in nearby Metra commuter lots. Portable restrooms are located on North Park Avenue and St. Charles Road. Alcoholic beverages are regulated and must be purchased from participating businesses like Babcocks Grove House, Punkys Pub, or Shannons Deli. Guests 21 and older with valid ID must wear a wristband to consume alcohol within the designated viewing areas on South Park Avenue and St. Charles Road. Alcohol must be served in 16-ounce plastic cups with a limit of two drinks per purchase. Sales end at 9:30 p.m. and consumption ends at 10:00 p.m. No outside alcohol is permitted.
