The Elyria Vintage Cruise In celebrates 55 years of tradition in 2026 as the oldest event of its kind in Lorain County. Located at the NAPA parking lot at 1020 East Broad Street, this weekly Friday night gathering runs from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm starting July 24, 2026. The season includes a special second show on Saturday, July 25, and concludes with an annual Trunk or Treat event on October 30. All years and models of cars are welcome, and non-running project cars may be displayed if they remain on their trailers and park in designated side areas. Attendees can sell old parts from their own collection at no cost if they are placed directly in front of their vehicle. If you require a table for parts, the fee is five dollars per table and requires advance arrangements for specific parking. For those looking to sell a vehicle, please ensure all contact information is clearly posted on the car. Local students selling school items or baked goods are welcome to set up, as are animal rescue organizations. Any pet adoptions or organization booths require prior approval and must provide full contact details. Pets are welcome on leashes or in portable kennels, and the organizers offer free water and treats for dogs at the main truck. Food trucks are invited to join the event from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. To avoid conflicts with the main food stand, trucks may not sell hot dogs, hamburgers, brats, or pulled pork. Interested vendors should email their menu for approval and can park near the event for a donation. The organizer sells affordable food and drinks to keep the event free for the public, including a separate Steak Fry fundraiser with 75 available tickets for 30 dollars each. These tickets include a porterhouse steak, salad, bread, and a non-alcoholic drink. We provide a free hot dog and water to all active or retired emergency services personnel, and veterans receive a free water with a DD214 card. This is a family-friendly, non-political, and alcohol-free environment. Please respect the regular cruisers by following parking directions and avoiding any shows of power or reckless driving.
