The Women's Fall High Performance Driving Clinic will be held at Summit Point Motorsports Park, Jefferson Circuit, on Sunday, September 27th. This event, presented by Women in Motorsports North America (WIMNA) and the Porsche Club of America, Potomac Region, focuses on driver awareness, vehicle dynamics, and car control skills in a controlled environment with in-car instructors. It is designed for drivers with limited or no prior performance driving experience. Porsche Hunt Valley is the title sponsor for this event. The schedule for Sunday, September 27th begins with technical inspection, registration, and a continental breakfast from 6:45 AM to 7:30 AM. A driver vehicle dynamics classroom session runs from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM. From 8:40 AM to 11:05 AM, attendees will rotate through performance driving exercises such as skid pad, slalom, threshold braking, and swerve to avoid braking, all with an in-car instructor. A second classroom session is from 11:10 AM to 12:10 PM, followed by a lunch break and VIP socializing from 12:10 PM to 1:00 PM. The afternoon features three run groups of 11 cars each, participating in three separate 20-minute full track sessions with in-car instructors from 1:05 PM to 5:00 PM. The day concludes with thank yous, a wrap-up, and happy hour from 5:00 PM to 5:45 PM. The driver registration fee for Sunday, September 27th is $475. This fee includes breakfast and lunch for registered drivers. All drivers must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license. Each vehicle must undergo a pre-event safety inspection using the PCA Potomac Technical Inspection Form and pass a brief inspection the morning of the event, checking brake pad wear, brake lights, and other items. All car marques are allowed, but fully electric vehicles are not permitted due to Summit Point Motorsports Park track rules. Porsche Macans and Porsche Hybrids are permitted. Two students sharing one vehicle is not allowed. Firearms, alcohol, and recreational drugs are prohibited while cars are on track. A WIMNA dinner will be held on Saturday, September 26th, at which influential women in the motorsports community will be present. Dinner tickets are $75 per person and must be purchased separately. Information on a room block at the host hotel will be sent to registered participants. Guests can purchase additional breakfast and lunch options during the registration process.
