Wichita Region SCCA will host Tire Rack Street Survival on Saturday, September 26th, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Yoder AeroDome in Hutchinson, KS. This "hands-on" driving experience focuses on real-world situations, using your own car to teach about its handling limits and how to control them. Students will learn to be more observant of traffic, anticipate other drivers' actions, and apply physics to driving, leading to fewer unwise driving actions. The program also emphasizes the importance of seatbelt use for both drivers and passengers. Three parents, including former Indy Car Champion Scott Goodyear, share their perspectives in a video about the program. The fee for all schools is $175.
