Volkswagens on the Island comes to Muncie for a tropical-themed cruise-in on Saturday, August 29, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. This gathering at The Island is open to all Volkswagen years and models, including Beetles, Buses, Karmann Ghias, Things, Golfs, GTIs, Jettas, Passats, ID.4s, and any other VW you own. Whether you drive a vintage air-cooled classic or a modern water-cooled model, all enthusiasts are welcome to hang out and enjoy the island-style atmosphere. Participants are encouraged to dress for the theme by wearing Hawaiian shirts and other tropical clothing to help set the vibe for the evening. There is no registration fee to participate in the cruise-in. Dedicated VW parking will be available at the Cardinal Greenway Trailhead parking lot and the back Olive Garden parking lot. Make plans to spend two hours with fellow VW fans and friends for an evening of cars and Aloha spirit. The event concludes at 7:00 PM.
