Utah RallyCross PE #7/8 is a two day event at Desert Thunder Raceway in Price, UT. We will use the paddock and small lot area near the pit entrance, just north of the raceway when viewed from Airport Road. The driving surface is smooth dirt without rocks. Saturday's schedule begins with registration and check in from 8:00 AM to 9:15 AM, and tech inspection from 8:30 AM to 9:15 AM. A course walk is scheduled from 9:00 AM to 9:25 AM, followed by a drivers meeting at 9:30 AM. The first car will be out at 10:00 AM, with results and wrap up by 5:00 PM. On Sunday, registration and check in is from 8:30 AM to 9:15 AM, and tech inspection from 8:45 AM to 9:15 AM. A course walk is from 9:00 AM to 9:25 AM, and the drivers meeting is at 9:30 AM. The first car will be out at 9:45 AM, and results and wrap up will conclude by 2:30 PM. Entry fees are as follows: $30 for first-time SCCA event participants (first day only). SCCA members pay $45 for one day or $70 for both days. Non-SCCA members, including a weekend membership, pay $65 for one day or $90 for both days. Credit cards will be charged at check-in on the morning of the event. All participants must have a valid driver's license and SCCA membership. A yearly membership can be purchased through SCCA, or a weekend membership can be added during registration and applied to a full membership later. Helmets are required; loaner helmets are available if needed. Vehicles must pass a basic safety and tech inspection, ensuring a secured battery with a covered positive terminal, a firm brake pedal, free-moving throttle, minimal wheel play, and no loose objects inside the car, including spare tires, subwoofers, or amplifiers.
