Turn2 hosts its 12th Annual Goodtimes Drive-A-Thon supporting The Goodtimes Project on August 14th at The Ridge Motorsports Park, Road Course, in Shelton, WA. All proceeds from the event, including track fees, will benefit The Goodtimes Project. Camp Goodtimes campers will be onsite to visit with drivers and ride around the track. Attendees can exercise their cars and bid on auction items. For more information about the Goodtimes Drive-A-Thon, visit www.thegoodtimesproject.org/driveathon. Track fees will be paid directly to The Goodtimes Project during check-in, and you will receive a tax receipt at the auction. You can also pay the camp directly during registration. If you have company matching funds, process the donation information immediately. Track fees for Turn2 Motorsports at The Ridge Motorsports Park for the 2026 driving season are $450 per day. Turn2 events are staffed with turn workers, a tow truck, and local EMTs. There will be a lunch break where food can be purchased from the Ridge Cafe. Each entrant must have their own driver profile at Motorsportreg.com with updated personal and vehicle information. Drivers must be at least 14 years old with strict instruction guidelines; young drivers in this situation should call Tom directly at 425-417-3675. All drivers should perform a thorough tech inspection before the event; a self-tech will also be available at check-in. Rollover protection is required for convertibles without stock manufacturer protection. Helmets must be 2015 Snell rated or newer; rental helmets are available. New drivers will be contacted by Matt, the chief driving instructor, to arrange an instructor. A dedicated instructor for the day costs $250. Experienced drivers can request an instructor per session for $50 per session. Accepted payment methods are checks, cash, and Venmo; credit card payments are not accepted. Paying via Venmo or check before the event will expedite morning check-in. Checks can be sent to Tom Pritchett, 3718 N Carolwood Ct, Post Falls ID 83854. Venmo is tom-pritchett-4, with two custom painted helmets as the avatar; the last four digits, if needed, are 3675. A confirmation letter will be emailed from a third-party server (MotorsportReg) once registration is reviewed; check your junk mail folder. If no notification is received, contact the registrar. The cancellation policy states that half of the track fees are due if a driver cancels within one week of the event. The full amount is due if a driver cancels within 48 hours or no-shows. This is a high-speed driving event, not a racing event. Turn2 Motorsports inc., its officers, instructors, staff, and facility providers assume no responsibility for accidents. Drivers are responsible for the safe operation and mechanical condition of their vehicles. Drivers concerned about insurance should contact their personal insurance carrier for advice or consider track day insurance from Lockton Insurance, Hagerty, or On Track Insurance.
