Turn2 Motorsports hosts a high-speed driving event on Saturday, October 10th at Qlispé Raceway Park in Airway Heights, WA. This event focuses on safe, predictable fun for drivers of varying skill levels, aged 14 to 114. Attendees can expect a fully staffed event with turn workers, a tow truck, and local EMTs on site. The event features three run groups based on driving ability: A for seasoned veterans and qualified racers (requires personal sign-off from Tom or Chris), B for drivers with moderate track experience, and C for drivers recently signed off solo by an instructor from Turn2 or a similar venue. New track drivers are required to have a dedicated instructor for the C group. Instructors are available for all skill levels and are sometimes mandatory. There is a lunch break between 12 PM and 1 PM. Passengers as young as 14 are permitted to ride with a qualified driver, and a student program starts at age 14; contact Tom directly for details. Drivers must have a personal profile at Motorsportreg.com with updated personal, emergency contact, and vehicle information. A thorough pre-event tech inspection of vehicles is required, along with a self-tech inspection at check-in. Convertibles without stock rollover protection from the manufacturer must have additional rollover protection. Helmets must be 2015 Snell rated or newer; rental helmets are available upon request. New drivers will be contacted by Matt, the chief driving instructor, to arrange an instructor. A dedicated instructor for the day costs $250, or $50 per session for experienced drivers. Payment methods include checks, cash, and Venmo; credit cards are not accepted. Venmo payments can be sent to @tom-pritchett-4 (last four digits 3675). Checks can be mailed to Tom Pritchett, 3718 N Carolwood Ct, Post Falls ID 83854. Pre-event payment helps streamline morning check-in. A confirmation letter will be emailed after registration review from MotorsportReg; check your junk mail folder if you do not receive it, and contact the registrar if needed. The cancellation policy states that half of the track fees are due for cancellations within one week of the event, and the full amount is due for cancellations within 48 hours or no-shows. This is a high-speed driving event, not a race. While safety is paramount, incidents may occur, and drivers are responsible for their vehicle's safe operation and mechanical condition. Turn2 Motorsports Inc. and its staff assume no responsibility for accidents. Track day insurance is available from providers like Lockton, Hagerty, or On Track Insurance.
