Turn2 events are designed for safe and predictable driving. The event runs in three groups based on driving ability. Group A is for seasoned track veterans, qualified racers, and instructors; A drivers must be signed off by Tom or Chris. Group B is for drivers with moderate track time not yet ready for Group A. Group C is for drivers recently signed off solo by a Turn2 instructor or similar venue. New track drivers require a dedicated instructor for Group C. Instructors are available for all skill levels and are mandatory at times. Drivers aged 14 to 114 are welcome. Passengers as young as 14 are permitted with a qualified driver; a program is available for 14-year-old students to begin driving on the track, contact Tom or Matt for details. The event is fully staffed with turn workers, a tow truck, and local EMTs. There will be a lunch break where food can be purchased from the Ridge Cafe. Each entrant needs a driver profile on Motorsportreg.com with updated personal, emergency contact, and vehicle information. The minimum driving age is 14. A thorough pre-event vehicle tech inspection is required, and a self-tech will occur at check-in. Convertibles without stock rollover protection must have aftermarket rollover protection. Helmets must be Snell 2020 rated or newer. Helmets are available for rent. New drivers will be contacted by Matt, the chief driving instructor, to arrange an instructor. A dedicated instructor costs $300 for the day. For experienced drivers, an instructor per session is $50 per session. Accepted payment methods are checks, cash, and Venmo; credit cards are not accepted. Paying via Venmo or check before the event will expedite morning check-in. Checks can be sent to Tom Pritchett, 3718 N Carolwood Ct, Post Falls ID 83854. Venmo is @tom-pritchett-4 (last four digits 3675) with two custom painted helmets as the avatar.
