Turn2 Motorsports will host a high-speed driving event at Ridge Motorsports Park, Road Course, on Friday, August 21st. The event focuses on safety and fun for drivers from 14 to 114 years old. Passengers as young as 14 are also permitted with a qualified driver. Turn2 Motorsports provides full staffing for all events, including turn workers, a tow truck for disabled vehicles, and local EMTs. Food is available for purchase from the Ridge Cafe during the lunch break. The event features three run groups based on driving ability. The A group is for seasoned track veterans, qualified racers, and instructors. The B group is for drivers with moderate track experience. The C group is for drivers recently signed off solo by an instructor from Turn2 or a similar venue. New track drivers are required to have a dedicated instructor for the C group. Instructors are available for all skill levels and are sometimes mandatory. A dedicated instructor costs $300 for the day. Experienced drivers can request an instructor per session for $50 per session. Track fees for the 2026 driving season are $450 per day. Each entrant must have a driver profile on Motorsportreg.com with updated personal information, emergency contact details, and all vehicle information. A thorough pre-event vehicle tech inspection is required, and a self-tech will be conducted at check-in. Convertibles without stock manufacturer rollover protection require aftermarket rollover protection. Helmets must be 2020 Snell rated or newer, and rentals are available upon request. New drivers will be contacted by Matt, the chief driving instructor, to arrange an instructor. Payments are accepted via checks, cash, and Venmo (@tom-pritchett-4). Credit card payments are not accepted. Mail checks to Tom Pritchett, 3718 N Carolwood Ct, Post Falls ID 83854. A confirmation letter will be emailed approximately three weeks before the event; please check your junk mail folder. If no notification is received, contact the registrar. Cancellations within one week of the event incur a 50% track fee. Cancellations within 72 hours or no-shows incur the full track fee. Cancellation insurance is available for purchase. This event is for high-speed driving, not racing. Turn2 Motorsports Inc., its officers, instructors, staff, and facility providers assume no responsibility for accidents. Drivers are fully responsible for the safe operation and mechanical condition of their vehicles. Track day insurance is available from providers such as Lockton Insurance, Hagerty, and On Track Insurance.
