Track Junkies presents a high-performance lapping day on Sunday, September 20, 2026, at Rad Torque Raceway in Leduc County, AB. This event offers a safe environment for high-value street and track cars to engage in both competitive and noncompetitive high-speed lapping with coordinated point-by passing. A rotating run group format is used to group drivers by similar skill levels and car speeds, minimizing congestion during 20-minute sessions. Participants should receive at least two hours of scheduled track time. Instruction is available for novice drivers, and a competitive Time Attack run group is offered, with AMB timing transponders available for rent. Time Attack participants can accumulate points for season-end prizes and trophies. Gates open at 7:30 AM, followed by an instructional bus tour of the track at 8:00 AM sharp. A mandatory drivers meeting will be held at 8:30 AM, with the track hot from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM. The fee per driver is $309.75, or $156.45 for a half day. Instruction for novice drivers costs an additional $105, helmet rental is $26.75, and AMB transponder rental is $26.75, required only for timed competitive lapping. All prices include 5% GST. Drivers must possess a valid driver's license and a safe, track-worthy vehicle inspected prior to the event. Trucks, SUVs, SAVs, and other high-center-of-gravity vehicles are not permitted. Convertibles, cabriolets, and open-top cars must have structural rollover protection. Vehicle inspection requires downloading the Track Junkies self-tech inspection form from www.trackjunkies.ca/self-tech.pdf and verifying each item. Inspections must be completed for each event. Drivers may perform the inspection themselves if they have the necessary knowledge and tools; otherwise, a licensed Automotive Service Technician familiar with road course driving requirements should complete the inspection. Brake fluid must be less than six months old on the event date. Snell-approved M-2015 (motorcycle) or SA-2015 (motorsport) or newer helmets are required, bearing a Snell rating sticker. Open-face helmets are preferred in vehicles with airbags, and closed-face helmets in vehicles without airbags. A limited number of open-face Snell-SA rental helmets are available for novice drivers. Novice drivers without prior track experience must take instruction for an additional $105 and complete a checkout ride before soloing. Unknown drivers without previous track experience in their profile will be placed in the novice group with an assigned instructor. Time Attack competitors require pre-approval as outlined on www.trackjunkies.ca/solo-driving-requirements/. Email info@trackjunkies.ca with your experience for approval. The event will proceed rain or shine, with no refunds for inclement weather.
