Tar Heel Sports Car Club presents Autocross Points Event #7 and #8 at North Carolina Center for Auto Research (NCCAR) in Garysburg, NC. This two day autocross takes place Saturday, September 26th and Sunday, September 27th. Both days are individual THSCC points events, with a different course set up each day. NCCAR is a fast and flowing venue, utilizing the actual track for a safe, fast, and long course on grippy tarmac. The event requires standard AX Tech. Leave your hood open and helmet ready for inspection. A limited supply of single use loaner helmets will be available, but bringing your own helmet is encouraged. The event will run with classes and numbers. Novices should print the "NOV" class and their number, not their car's actual class, and bring tape for display on each side of the car. A mandatory instructional novice course walk starts promptly at 8:45 AM at the Points Event. Please have your car ready and be on time. Gates open at 7:30 AM both days. Registration check-in runs from 8:00 AM to 8:45 AM. Tech inspection is from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM. The drivers' meeting is at 9:30 AM, with the first car off at 10:00 AM. Specific two day and one day registration fees are to be determined. On site registration is available for an additional $10 late entry fee. We will provide water at the event. To register, pre-pay online through MotorsportReg. Payment is deferred and accounts will not be charged until registration closes. To redeem an event voucher, register online and email registrar@thscc.com for modification. For directions to NCCAR, take I-95 to NC-46 East, then turn left onto Lowe's Boulevard Road, and left onto Technology Drive. Enter through the main gate and sign in at the guard station.
