SJR SCCA Solo Event 8 will be held at Bader Field in Atlantic City, NJ. The event runs in a full day format and typically concludes around 4:00 PM. Participants should plan to be on site until the event's completion unless prior arrangements have been made with event coordinators. Event requirements include a valid driver's license for all drivers. Per NJ state law, passengers are not permitted on course unless the driver or passenger is a region-approved instructor. Helmets must be Snell SA2015 or newer, as required by NJ State Police Chapter 62. Loaner helmets are available at the truck for use during runs. The approximate event schedule is as follows: set up begins at 7:30 AM. Mandatory tech inspection for vehicles without an annual SJR tech inspection is from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM. Course walks are from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM, with a novice course walk meeting at the timing truck at 9:00 AM. The mandatory driver's meeting is at 9:30 AM, and the first car is off at 10:00 AM. Trophies will be awarded after event clean up. Early registration fees, which include a $5 discount for online registrations placed more than 24 hours before online registration closes, are $56 for SCCA members and $76 for non-SCCA members.
