The Schonesland Porsche Club presents the 2026 Dams and Tracks Drive, an exclusive, full-day driving tour for club members. This drive will take participants through the scenic roads of south-central Iowa on Saturday, October 10, 2026. The route includes Saylorville Dam, Red Rock Dam, and Lake Rathbun Dam, as well as motorsports landmarks like Iowa Speedway in Newton, the historic Greenwood Roadway, and Knoxville Raceway. Organizers are working to secure a ceremonial lap at Iowa Speedway. Participants will meet at 8:00 a.m. in the parking lot next to the Cozy Café in Johnston for the drivers' meeting. Please arrive with a full tank of fuel. The first driving group will depart at 8:30 a.m. If a second group is needed due to registration numbers, it will depart approximately 20 minutes later. The planned lunch stop is at The Rib Shack in Knoxville, with one rest stop before and one after lunch.
