The annual AMR Picnic is a scenic drive to Rambler Ranch in Elizabeth, CO on August 22, 2026. The $55 per person registration includes all food, beverages, and admission to the entire collection. Rambler Ranch covers over 60,000 square feet across five buildings. It houses an extensive private collection of American Motors Corporation (AMC) vehicles, predecessor company cars and trucks, and other vehicles and marketing memorabilia. The collection features prototypes, concepts, race cars, one-offs, and popular cars spanning over a century. Hundreds of vehicles are displayed throughout the wooded property. Exhibits include a restoration shop, Kelvinator and antique appliances, vintage clothing, a Sinclair gasoline station, a 1960s diner, and a 1960s-style apartment. The ranch also has a picnic area, a store with cold drinks (included with registration), and ice cream (purchased separately). Catering is provided by Famous Dave’s BBQ and is included with registration. Attendees will meet at the Park & Ride in Monument, north of the intersection of CO-105 and Woodmoor Drive. Plan to arrive between 10:00 and 10:15 AM for check-in and gathering. A drivers meeting will begin at 10:30 AM, with departure promptly at 10:45 AM for the scenic drive to Rambler Ranch.
