Rallycross Championship Event #8 will be held at Bill's Field in Devon, AB. Gates open at 8:00 AM, with track setup from 8:00 AM to 9:15 AM. A mandatory driver's meeting begins at 9:30 AM, followed by parade laps at 9:45 AM. The first car is out at 10:00 AM, and the last car is out at 4:00 PM. This event is part of the ERC Rallycross Championship series, featuring solo timed runs on courses marked by pylons and natural objects. It is open to production-model light passenger vehicles, light trucks, and SUVs that are wider than tall. Vans and motorcycles are not permitted. Loose items and detachable components like hubcaps must be removed from vehicles. Tires must be in good condition. The maximum exhaust noise level is 86 dBA at 3500 RPM from 15 meters. Open-top vehicles require a fitted hard top and/or approved rollover protection. Drivers and passengers must wear minimum three-point seat harnesses. Helmets meeting CARS NRR 11.1.6 or Snell M2005/SA2005 (or more recent) are required, and high-visibility vests must be worn. Passengers are permitted one per vehicle and must have the same or higher level of safety gear as the driver. Porta-potties are available on site, but food is not. Registration is online only and costs $60 if completed at least four days before the event, or $80 otherwise. An annual ERC or other ASN-affiliate club membership is required; non-members can purchase a $20 daily membership during registration. This event is limited to 30 vehicles and requires a minimum of 6 entries four days prior to proceed. All individuals on the property must sign waivers. Participants are expected to assist with setup, marshaling, and tear down, and will work corners after their on-track time. Organizers may remove attendees for not meeting regulations or unsportsmanlike conduct, with no refunds issued in such cases. If the event is canceled by organizers, fees will be refunded, and daily membership credits will be issued for future use.
