Rallycross Championship Event #7 takes place at Lacombe Ag Grounds in Lacombe, AB. This event is open to all skill and budget levels, allowing participants to race for a championship or simply for the thrill. No prior experience or expensive purpose built car is required to participate. The event features solo timed runs around courses marked by pylons and natural objects. The schedule for the day is as follows: Gates open at 8:00 AM, with track setup from 8:00 AM to 9:15 AM. A mandatory Driver's Meeting will be held at 9:30 AM, followed by Parade Laps at 9:45 AM. The first car will be out at 10:00 AM, and the last car out will be at 4:00 PM. All participants are required to work corners following their on-track time and are expected to help with setup, marshaling, and tear down. Online registration is required. The fee is $60 if registered at least four days before the event, and $80 otherwise. The registration fee is per driver. An annual ERC or other ASN-affiliate club membership is required. Non-members can purchase a daily membership for $20 during registration. Eligible vehicles include production-model light passenger vehicles, light trucks, and SUVs; vans and motorcycles are not permitted. All vehicles must be wider than they are tall. This event is limited to 30 vehicles. All loose items and items that may detach from the car during competition, such as hub caps, must be removed. Tires must be in good condition. The maximum permitted noise level from the exhaust system at 3500 RPM is 86 dba. Open-top vehicles require a fitted hard top and/or approved roll-over protection. Minimum three-point seat harnesses are required for drivers and passengers. Helmets meeting CARS NRR 11.1.6 or bearing Snell Memorial Foundation M2005 or SA 2005 (or more recent) labels must be worn, along with a high-visibility vest. Passengers are allowed, limited to one, and must wear the same or a higher level of safety gear as the driver. Porta-potties are available on site, but food will not be available. A minimum of 6 entries four days prior to the event is required for it to proceed. All events are subject to cancellation or rescheduling based on weather, track availability, and registration numbers. Organizers may remove any attendee who does not meet regulations or acts in an unsportsmanlike manner, and no refunds will be issued in such cases. In the event of a cancellation by the organizers, event fees will be refunded, and daily membership credits will be issued for future events. The Edmonton Rally Club is a non-profit organization, and all staff are volunteers. New volunteers are always needed.
