Porsche Club of America - St. Louis Region hosts a High Performance Driver Education (HPDE) weekend at World Wide Technology Raceway, just minutes from downtown St. Louis. Participants will drive a portion of the IndyCar and NASCAR track, then navigate the 1.6 mile Roval (Short Course Road+Oval) infield road course. Everyone is welcome, you do not need to own a Porsche or be a PCA member to register. Most makes and models of sports cars and sedans are eligible to participate. PCA Member registration for the 2-Day Event costs $405, with garages available for $110, and opens Saturday, January 17, 2026, at 12 Noon. Non-PCA Member registration for the 2-Day Event costs $440, with garages available for $110, and opens Friday, July 24, 2026, at Midnight. HPDE events fill quickly, so early registration is encouraged. Once a run group is full, registrants will be placed on a waitlist and contacted if openings develop; you will not be charged until registration is confirmed. Garages are additional and must be selected during registration, space is limited and allotted by registration date/time. A limited "Solo Friday" for qualified drivers and instructors is available with two run groups, including lunch. Drivers will be assigned a run group based on prior track experience. Please list all previous experience in your MSR profile or email STLPCAHPDE@gmail.com for proper group placement. New St. Louis PCA HPDE participants will automatically default to Beginner Level; please register and email a driving resume for proper run group placement. Run groups are: White Group 0 - Instructors, Red Group 1 - Advanced, Blue Group 2 - Intermediate, Yellow Group 3 - Novice, and Green Group 4 - Beginner. All Beginner and Novice level participants will receive a National PCA instructor for in-car guidance, participate in classroom instruction, and follow strictly controlled passing rules. New drivers can participate in Orientation Laps on Friday at 4:45 PM; arrive by 4:00 PM for on-site tech and registration. Parade Laps, open to friends and family, will be held Sunday at 12:30 PM (60 mph max, passengers allowed). All vehicles require a tech inspection by a qualified technician within 30 days of the event. A 2026 Tech Inspection Form (available in Downloads) must be completed by a certified mechanic (Section One) and brought to on-site Tech and Reg. Instructors may self-tech. Snell rated helmets SA 2015 (accepted until 6/30/2026), SA2020, M2020 or newer are required. On-site Tech & Reg is open Friday from 7 AM-6 PM and Saturday from 6:30 AM-7:30 AM. Friday registrants should go to the Registration Office. Saturday registrants should secure parking, empty their car, and queue in the Drive Thru Tech & Reg line with their driver's license, tech form, and helmet. On-site Tech closes at 7:20 AM and Registration closes at 7:30 AM; late arrivals may forfeit the first track session. Vehicle numbers will be provided in your registration packet. All guests must check in with the Registration office to sign a waiver and receive a wristband. A Light Breakfast, Lunch, Water, Snacks and Saturday Happy Hour are provided compliments of sponsors including Porsche St. Louis, Weiss Insurance, Avery Injury Law, DALO Motorsports, West County Auto Body, Autos of Europe, David Helms, GM Law, LFG Motorsports, ET Tuning, JML Audio of St. Louis, and Auto Vitality, and St. Louis Auto Shield. For those interested in a sample of the HPDE experience without committing to a full event, the Track EXPerience is available for $100. Participants will receive a briefing, then ride with a PCA-approved instructor in their car in one of the beginner run groups. This includes learning about car control, the racing line, traffic management, and track safety. A $50 credit for a future HPDE registration is included, valid for one year. Participants must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license, sign waivers, wear appropriate clothing, closed-toe shoes, long pants, and a provided helmet, and attend the Track EXP briefing. Track EXP is limited to once per day, with a maximum of four sessions per day in the lowest two run groups.
