The Pleasant Valley Car Show is open to all cars, trucks, SUVs, and custom/hot rods. This event is held in memory of Fire Department Life Member and Veteran Donald "Sox" Bowersox, with all proceeds benefiting the Pleasant Valley Community Fire Company. Donald Bowersox's 1965 Ford Thunderbird, "The Other Woman," will be on display. There will be 34 trophies awarded across multiple categories. Judges will evaluate body, interior, engine compartment, paint, and tires/wheels/hubcaps. A new SUV category has been added for 2026. Trophy categories include: Cars - Top 15, Custom/Hot Rods - Top 5, Trucks - Top 5, SUVs - Top 5, Angela's Choice Trophy, and Participants Choice - Top 3. Participants will receive one ballot to vote for their choice. Pre-registration is $15.00 and day of show registration is $20.00. The first 100 registered participants will receive a raffle ticket and dash plaque. Pre-register online or by submitting a form and payment to PVFC by September 24, 2026. Registration fees are considered a non-refundable donation to Pleasant Valley Community Fire Company, a 501(c)(3) organization. Vendors are wanted and will be located inside the Social Hall, parking in the fire company Kitchen Lot after setup. Good food, including breakfast and lunch items, will be available all day in the indoor dining hall, prepared by the Pleasant Valley Auxiliary. The Pleasant Valley Fire Prevention Committee will have a table in the social hall with free safety information and giveaways for kids. Jr. Fire Company Members will sell reflective address signs for homes. Community tables will be present, including non-profit organizations like Pleasant Valley 4-H Club and St. Matthew's U.C.C. There will be a 50/50 Money Raffle with tickets for $1 each or 6 for $5, and you do not need to be present to win. A Table Raffle will also be in the Social Hall with tickets for $1 each or 6 for $5. Drawings for the Table Raffle will be held after the car show awards presentation.
