The Porsche Club of America Pacific Northwest Region presents Driver Skills, a one-day clinic on the fundamentals of performance driving, on October 3, 2026, at Bremerton Motorsports Park in Port Orchard, WA. The event runs from 7:50 AM to 3:30 PM, with gates opening at 7:00 AM. An optional segment will follow, concluding by 6:00 PM or dusk. Driver Skills is designed for drivers of all experience levels, from novices to seasoned enthusiasts. Participants will work one-on-one with Porsche, Audi, and BMW club instructors in small groups. Educational segments include a classroom ground school, slalom, wet skidpad, threshold braking and accident avoidance, figure-8, and autocross. These sessions focus on improving car placement, weight transfer control, throttle steering, and effective braking, without timing or competition. An optional maneuvering course is available after the primary sessions for continued practice. The participation fee for Driver Skills is $185, which includes lunch. Qualified teen drivers can register for $105. This course serves as preparation for Driver Education and Autocross events and qualifies participants for Driver Education events with local Audi and BMW clubs.
