You can bring your car to Pacific Raceways in Kent, WA for a fun and memorable experience while developing advanced car control skills in a structured, non-competitive environment. This event is open to drivers of all car manufacturers. In-car instruction is provided for drivers not approved for solo driving, and solo-approved drivers may request an instructor based on availability. PCA membership is not required to participate. Registration opens July 20, 2026, at 8:00 AM and closes September 9, 2026, at 11:59 PM. All participants are initially placed on a waitlist, with confirmation and payment processed 30 days prior to the event. The all-day participation fee is $395. A one-time helmet rental is available for $30. Each participant must create an account at MotorsportReg.com, update personal information, and provide VINs for all vehicles they plan to bring. Participants must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid, non-restricted driver’s license, which will be checked at event check-in. Up to two drivers may share a car, but each must register separately, pay the full fee, and participate in different run groups. A Pre-Event Tech Form must be submitted within 30 days before each event; instructions will be provided by the tech team 30 days prior. A certified mechanic can complete the form, or you can do it yourself if qualified. If sharing a car, both drivers must submit separate tech forms. All cars must be inspected before every event, regardless of previous submissions, and periodic professional inspections are highly recommended. Drivers and passengers in cars with harnesses must use an approved Head and Neck Restraint System (HANS). Helmets must carry Snell SA or SAH, FIA, SFI 31.1, or BS6658-85 Type A/FR certifications; SM rated (motorcycle) helmets are not allowed. Snell SA2015 rated helmets are permitted until June 30, 2026, unless they have a legible Manufacturing Date. All helmets with a legible Manufacturing Date are allowed until the end of the 10th year after the Manufacturing Date. If no Manufacturing Date is available, the helmet is permitted until the end of the year 10 years after the Snell sticker. A limited number of rental helmets are available with advance reservation. Vehicles must have independently operating turn signals, or drivers must be able to signal with a fully extended arm out the driver’s side window. Convertibles without manufacturer-installed rollover protection must have additional rollover protection. Any vehicle with a removable top (soft or hard) must have the top fully installed and secured. Certain Porsche models with Mezger dry sump engines require proof of welded or pinned coolant pipe fittings, and an invoice must be submitted and kept on file with PNWR. 997.2 Turbo models (2010–2013) are exempt. If you are unsure about your car’s fittings or lack records, referrals to local shops for inspection are available. Online payment is mandatory, but your card will not be charged until registration is confirmed. You can check your registration status and assigned car number at MotorsportReg.com. Upon registration, you will be listed as “Waitlisted” until your request is processed. The week before the event, an email will be sent from MotorsportReg with links to track instructions, maps, schedules, and instructor assignments; please check your junk mail folder. The event schedule is as follows: Gates open, tech inspection, and registration begin at 7:00 AM. A mandatory drivers meeting is at 8:10 AM. The track is hot from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a one-hour lunch break at noon.
