The Porsche Club of America Northeast Region presents Autocross #5, sponsored by Autobahn Performance, on Saturday, October 17th, at Moore Airfield, Fort Devens, Ayer, MA. Registration closes at midnight on Wednesday, October 14th. All payments must be made online, as payment at the gate will not be accepted. Autocross is a performance driving event where participants navigate a pylon-defined course, typically reaching speeds of 40-65 MPH. Our venue allows for courses exceeding 1.25 miles, with runs lasting over a minute. This event offers a safe environment to learn your car's limits, improve driving confidence, and practice correct driving positions. Instructors will be available at every event. Autocross courses use soft orange traffic pylons that will not damage vehicles. It is also a social gathering for new and returning participants. Both PCA members and non-PCA members are eligible to register with any make of car. PCA Member Driver registration is $55, and Non-PCA Member Driver registration is $65. A "Taste of Autocross" ride-along is available for $20, with proceeds going to charity. Participants in at least 4 of the 5 events are eligible for the season championship in their class. The season championship trophy will be awarded at the NER PCA Annual Party in January; attendance is encouraged but not required. Visit the NER website for full championship and points details.
