OVR SCCA Solo 2026 PAX 2 is a PAX Challenge event taking place in the evening at Fortress Obetz. These abbreviated events are planned to run until approximately 10 PM. This event has a registration limit of 70 cars, and the schedule is modified from typical events. The event site features good pavement that performs well in the rain, restroom access, good viewing spots, grassy areas, and a fenced-in lot. The facility allows for great course designs and a safe operating environment. It is also close to local restaurants and may have food trucks on site. Safety is a high priority, and all participants must adhere to all safety rules and regulations. All registration is pre-registration; there will be no walk-up registration. Registration and Tech Inspection open at 4:30 PM and close at 5:45 PM. The course is open for walking from 5:30 PM to 6:15 PM. A mandatory novice course walk and meeting will take place from 5:45 PM to 6:15 PM, followed by a mandatory driver's meeting for all drivers from 6:15 PM to 6:30 PM. The first car will be on course at 6:45 PM. All event participation is required, meaning everyone at the event must fulfill their work assignments to keep events affordable and maintain safety. If you need to leave early due to an emergency, your times recorded for the day will be dropped. Car classing is done according to SCCA PAX/RTP guidelines. You can email ovrsoloreg@gmail.com for assistance with car classing. All regulations are available in the OVR SCCA Solo Supplemental Regulations. Your SCCA member number, first, and last name must exactly match your national SCCA membership. For parents, minor waivers require signatures from both parents for minors driving or riding as a passenger. A separate spectator viewing area away from hot zones will be marked, which does not require a waiver. Minor waiver forms are available at http://ovr-scca.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/SCCA_Minor_SCCA_Official_1068_09_15.pdf. If parents need to sign at separate times, a notarized form is available at the same link.
