On Friday, October 16th, Virginia International Raceway's Full Course will host a test and tune event from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. This event is open to HPDE Intermediate SOLO drivers (HPDE 2 and up), Advanced drivers (HPDE 3 and up), Racers, Time Trial drivers, Instructors, and experienced club members. Enrollment is limited across three run groups to maximize track time, with drivers potentially getting up to three hours on track. Drivers may arrive on the evening of Thursday, October 15th, starting at 6:00 pm. Tech and registration will be available Thursday evening from 6:30 pm to 7:45 pm and Friday morning from 6:30 am to 9:00 am. All participants must bring a completed Self-Tech form to registration. Regarding safety gear, helmets must be SA2015 or newer; DOT or motorcycle helmets are not permitted. HANS devices, fireproof clothing, shoes, and gloves are recommended. For drivers with track prepared vehicles, a one piece SFI or FIA rated driver's suit with a minimum of two layers is required, along with an approved competition helmet, closed toe shoes, and fire safe gloves (leather or Nomex recommended).
