The NRSCCA Solo Test and Tune event will take place on Saturday, August 15th, at Lincoln Air Park, located west of the Lincoln Airport. The closest intersection is NW 34th Street and West Mathis Street, Lincoln, NE 68524. Tony Mitera is the Eventmaster for this Test and Tune, and Steve Ducharme is the Solo Safety Steward. Gates open at 9:00 am. Tech and check-in are from 9:45 am to 10:30 am, followed by a drivers meeting at 10:45 am. The first car will be on course at 11:00 am. This event is open to SCCA members with more than two events of experience, and all registrations and exceptions are subject to approval by the Eventmaster. The cost for the Saturday Test and Tune is $50 for SCCA members. To pre-register, you must have a card on file for your MSR account, but your card will only be charged upon check-in at the event. Loaner helmets are available for rent at $5.00 each and must be requested during registration. Helmets are for use only during your driving heat and must be returned promptly afterward. Availability of specific helmet sizes is on a first-come, first-served basis. Directions from I-80 are as follows: Take the NW 48th Exit North from I-80. Turn right (East) onto West Mathis Street. Continue East until you reach the fence, then turn right and sign the waiver at the gate.
