The NJMP Track Day takes place on November 7, 2026, at NJMP Thunderbolt in Millville, NJ. This full day of performance driving education is designed for drivers of varying experience levels. The event runs rain or shine. Participants can register as an Intro Driver, Novice Driver, Intermediate Driver, or Guest of a Driver. Intro Drivers will receive classroom instruction and four 20-minute on-track sessions led by the Official NJMP Pace Car, progressively increasing in speed. Novice Drivers, who have some prior track experience, will have increased classroom instruction and four 20-minute on-track sessions behind the Official NJMP Pace Car, starting at a faster pace and potentially exceeding 100 mph. Intermediate Drivers, with extensive track experience, will participate in advanced performance driving education, including instruction on proper passing techniques, and four 20-minute on-track sessions with Point-By Passing. Guests of a Driver can attend classroom instruction and enjoy lunch. Lunch is provided for all driver categories and guests. The schedule begins with ALL Participant Arrival at 8:00 AM, followed by Registration and Tech Inspection from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM, and an ALL Participant Drivers Meeting from 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM. A track walk/drive with cars is scheduled from 10:25 AM to 11:00 AM. Classroom sessions and on-track sessions for each group will run throughout the day, concluding with the Intro Session 4 (Paced) from 4:10 PM to 4:30 PM, and the event ending at 4:30 PM. Lunch will be held at the Finish Line Pub from 12:35 PM to 1:35 PM. All drivers must be at least 18 years old, possess a valid driver’s license, and present it at the track. Documentation of track experience or race licenses should be brought for verification. Only one driver is permitted per car, with no passengers or instructors allowed. Cancellations made more than 3 days before the event will receive a full refund; cancellations within 3 days are not refundable. A Snell M or SA rated helmet dated 2020 or newer is required for all drivers on track; NJMP offers rentals. Long pants and closed-toe shoes are mandatory. All vehicles must pass a tech inspection by an NJMP Official the morning of the event; tires must be 5 years old or newer. SUVs, Electric Vehicles, Hybrids, and Trucks are not permitted. Open top cars require approved rollover protection that passes the broomstick test. Aftermarket restraints must be current and properly installed. Paddock speed limit is 5 mph, access roads 25 mph, and pit lane 20 mph. Participants are responsible for any damage to NJMP property. Un-muffled engines cannot be started before 8:30 AM or after 8:00 PM. Fuel stations at Thunderbolt Raceway offer 93, 100 (unleaded), 110, and 112 (leaded) octane. Participants certify they will abide by all NJMP rules and release agreements. NJMP is not responsible for loss or damage to property.
