The NEPASCCA Fall Pocono Event, Points Event #10 and #11 for the RedShift Competition 2026 NEPA SCCA Solo Points Series, takes place at Pocono Raceway in Long Pond, PA. Competition runs from 9:00am until an unspecified time on both Saturday and Sunday, with award presentations 30 minutes after competition runs at the timing trailer. All participants and staff must depart by 6:30pm daily. The track considers any persons in the infield area after 7:00pm as trespassing. The track is hard locked until 6:00am on Sunday. Saturday's gate opens at 7:00am. Registration Check-In, Tech, and Course walking are open from 7:00am to 8:00am. First heat drivers grid at 8:00am, with the Drivers Meeting at 8:30am. Worker Check-in and remaining first heat drivers grid at 8:45am. Sunday's gate opens at 7:00am. Registration Check-In, Tech, and Course walking are open from 7:00am to 8:30am. First heat drivers grid at 8:30am, and the Drivers Meeting is at 8:45am. Each competitor receives at least 3 runs per day. Helmets are required for all solo participants and must meet SCCA requirements; a limited quantity of loaner helmets will be available. Passengers must be at least 16 years old with ID. Shifter karts are permitted for drivers 18 years and older. There are no breaks for lunch or worker changeovers; everyone will have one "off" heat per session and a work assignment for at least one heat per day. Everyone must sign Pocono and NEPA waiver sheets and wear provided NEPA wristbands. Children are allowed anywhere on site except during active competition, and should not be in the course area or grid without specific permission. Car numbers and classes must be on both sides of vehicles for tech inspection. Drones are not permitted. Cars exceeding 93db will receive a warning, and those equal to or exceeding 96db will require modification or cessation of competition runs. A "one-time" refund is available if adjustments cannot be made. Reckless driving resulting in leaving the lot/course area will lead to removal without refund. Event trophies are provided once cleanup is done. Year-end trophies, jackets, and awards are only for Annual SCCA Members. Anyone under 18 who wishes to drive, passenger, work, or spectate needs a Minor Waiver. The timing trailer and event staff equipment tent are off limits to non-event staff. The track will be hosting other events in other portions of the facility on Saturday and Sunday. Event entry is capped at 150. There will be no walk-up registration, and registration closes two days prior to the event. No refunds will be issued. Non-SCCA Annual Member Standard Entry Fee is $25 plus the standard fee. SCCA Annual Member Weekend Entry Fee is $125 prior to September 10, 2026, and $140 on or after September 10, 2026. SCCA Annual Member Single Day Entry Fee is $80 prior to September 10, 2026, and $95 on or after September 10, 2026. NEPA SCCA runs all SCCA Solo National classes in both Open and Ladies classes, and a Novice class is provided. Competitors are responsible for determining their vehicle's correct class. All drivers, passengers, and participants in designated hot zones must be SCCA members (annual, weekend, or trial). Designated gravel parking areas are for spectators and non-race vehicles. All race vehicles will be parked in the paved NASCAR garage area. Parking or idling is not permitted on access roads surrounding the infield road course. Leave at least 10 feet of space when parking in grass areas. Pocono sells camping packages inside the track for Saturday night, which can be purchased through their offices; camping must be in a self-contained RV. Solo Chairs from other regions are eligible for free regular priced NEPA Solo events; email solo@nepascca.org for instructions. Bring snacks, sunscreen, water, tents, and umbrellas.
