NEOHIO Points Event #6 is an autocross event at the City of Eastlake lot, near the corner of Vine Street and SOM Center Road, across from Classic Park. The paddock opens at 7:30 AM, with course walking at 8:00 AM, and a novice walk at 8:30 AM. The driver's meeting and work assignments begin at 9:00 AM, followed by the first car on course at 9:30 AM. Participants will be split into two groups, with Group A driving while Group B works the course, and vice versa. Lunch will take place after the final run of Heats 1 and 2, with the first car on course after lunch for additional heats. Course breakdown follows the final run, and results will be available online. This event is capped at 40 participants to ensure ample runs for each driver. Participants can go off-site for lunch, and several restaurants, including Culver's, are nearby. The event will be held rain or shine, except in dangerous weather conditions like thunderstorms or tornadoes. All cars will be observed for a sound limit not to exceed 90 decibels measured at approximately 50 feet. Cars must have mufflers and no open headers. If a sound issue cannot be resolved, a credit towards another event will be offered. Entry fees are pre-pay online only: $30.00 for SCCA Members and $50.00 for non-members (which includes a weekend membership fee). Due to venue regulations, this is a pre-registration only event, and no walk-ups or non-registered spectators will be allowed. All participants and spectators must be pre-registered to gain entry. Participants must bring a valid, state-issued driver's license for check-in. SCCA members also need their membership card. Car numbers and class must be clearly displayed on both sides of the vehicle, not on the windows. A minor taking part as a competitor, on track participant, or volunteer with access to restricted areas must have an Annual Minor Waiver on file for the calendar year.
