OktoberFast at VIR, powered by HyperFest, is scheduled for Friday, October 16 through Sunday, October 18 at VIRginia International Raceway. The event includes racing, time trials, and HPDE sessions for all experience levels, from beginner to advanced. A Friday-only track day is also available for drivers seeking additional track time. Friday, October 16 features an Instructor Clinic and an open track day with Track Advantage on VIR's full course. This session is for HPDE 2 Intermediate SOLO drivers, Advanced drivers (HPDE 3 and up), Racers, Time Trial drivers, and Instructors, with limited enrollment to maximize track time. Saturday and Sunday, October 17 and 18, will host racing, time trials, and HPDE (1-4) groups, with each HPDE group receiving four track sessions per day. An Instructor group and an HPDE Intro Toyota/GR Program are also offered. Event pricing is supported by OG Racing, a 2026 sponsor for NASA Mid-Atlantic. Prices will increase on Friday, October 2 at midnight for all Saturday and Sunday activities that are not waitlisted. Drivers are responsible for any track damage resulting from their actions and will be financially responsible for repairs and any augmented track time costs. A NASA Optional Facility Damage Waiver only covers physical track damage, not augmented track time costs. A detailed schedule and driver list will be posted 7-10 days prior to the event, along with further instructions. Racers should register early for better grid positioning. Time Trial drivers must have a current Time Trial or Race License and a transponder. HPDE participants will have mandatory classroom sessions for HPDE 1, 2, and 3. Waitlists are available for full groups, and participants are encouraged to sign up as spots often become available.
