MKE SCCA presents Thursday Night Thunder #5 2026 at Milwaukee Mile Raceway. We will operate an hour early due to sunset at 6:15 PM. You can drive on the track in our High Performance Driving Event (HPDE) format, or you can attend the car show or participate in RC car activities. The HPDE includes three run groups: advanced, intermediate, and novice, with three 20-minute sessions each, providing an hour of seat time. Instructors will be available, and track day insurance is available from Lockton or Hagerty. Hot Laps and helmet rentals are available during checkout on a limited basis. We will be setting up PayPal, Zelle, and Venmo for on-site transactions for merchandise, Hot Laps, and helmet rentals. The event is brought to you by the Milwaukee Region Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) with support from Schlossmann's Automotive Group. On-site registration and check-in take place from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Infield Media Center. Tech inspection is also from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM, with novice drivers required to complete inspection by 2:00 PM. Mandatory track day drivers meetings are scheduled for 2:00 PM to 2:20 PM for all drivers and 2:20 PM to 2:40 PM specifically for Group 3, both at the Infield Media Center. Drivers may need to work a flag station during sessions when their group is not on course. A $13.00 parking fee will be charged by the State Fair to enter the fairgrounds; this fee is waived for pre-registered participants. Pre-registration closes on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at 11:59 PM.
