The Las Vegas Region SCCA will host a Solo Event, also known as Autocross, at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway Metro Lot. Autocross is a timed competition on an asphalt surface, where drivers navigate a cone-marked course one car at a time. This format prioritizes safety and emphasizes car handling and control, leading to intense competition. This is a work-run event; all drivers are required to work during the event. Online registration for Sunday is $70. On-site registration is $85. An SCCA membership is required. Non-members can purchase a weekend membership for an additional $20 during checkout, which is valid for the entire weekend. For annual membership benefits, visit https://www.scca.com/pages/member-benefits. Your name and membership number in your MotorsportReg.com profile must exactly match your SCCA membership card. Verify your information at my.scca.com or contact National SCCA for assistance. The schedule begins at 7:00 am with registration and tech opening, and the course available for walking. Registration closes promptly at 8:00 am, with no entries accepted after this time. Tech closes at 8:15 am, followed by a guided course walk at 8:20 am and a mandatory driver's and safety meeting at 8:30 am. Workers for the first group and cars to the grid will check in at 8:55 am, with run groups starting at 9:00 am. The event is scheduled to conclude at 4:00 pm. All drivers must check in at the registration table to participate. First-time drivers should sign both event waivers at the entrance gate and check in at the registration table upon arrival. Ensure your car is prepared to pass tech and has its number and class displayed before arriving at the tech inspection; tape will be available at the bus. Loaner helmets are available for $5 on a first come, first served basis. For vehicle classification questions, email Shawn Fisher or consult the official SCCA 2025 Solo RuleBook. A course walk, especially the guided walk, and attendance at the driver's meeting are highly recommended. Review the tech video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y-VFJiMJUfc to ensure your car passes inspection. For numbers and class letters, visit https://www.autocrossdigits.com/.
