Kansas City SCCA '26 #1 will be held on Saturday, August 15th, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Metropolitan Community College in Independence, MO. This event focuses on hands-on driving experience in real-world situations, using your own car to teach about handling limits and control. Students will learn to observe traffic more effectively and anticipate the actions of other drivers. The program emphasizes the application of physics to driving, leading to safer driving decisions, and reinforces the importance of seatbelt use for both drivers and passengers. A video featuring parents, including former Indy Car Champion Scott Goodyear, provides additional perspectives on the program. The fee for all schools is $125.
