Hunt Valley Horsepower is a weekly car, truck, and SUV event held every Saturday at Hunt Valley Towne Centre, located in the parking lot between Iron Rooster and Marshalls. The event begins as early as 7:00 a.m. All marques and generations are welcome. The event is held rain or shine. In case of steady rain, flurries, or extreme cold or heat, attendees can gather inside Panera and Iron Rooster. Food and refreshments are available from Chick-fil-A, Panera, and Wegmans, which open at 6:00 a.m. Iron Rooster opens at 7:00 a.m. Admission is free for both show vehicles and spectators. Vehicles are generally parked by marque or country. Cars, trucks, and SUVs should back into a spot within the marked area. During peak season (March to November), attendees should use common sense regarding parking in the general show vehicle area or spectator vehicle areas closer to Panera and Avalon. Motorcycles are encouraged to park in the spectator row near the ring road close to Iron Rooster, as they are not part of the site agreement or insurance policy. Directions to the venue are I-83 to Exit 20A (Shawan Road East), then proceed 1/2 mile to Hunt Valley Towne Centre on the left. Parking assistance is provided by Will, who can be found on a mountain bike near the middle entrances of the gathering area before 9:00 a.m. when the weather is suitable, or on foot when the grounds are wet or cold.
