Hooked on Driving presents Friendsgiving at Virginia International Raceway on Saturday, November 28th and Sunday, November 29th. This high performance driving event is open to Novice, Intermediate, Advanced, and Expert drivers. Early registration, 45 days before the event, provides a $50 discount. Novice drivers receive in-car instruction, professional classroom sessions, and after-session debriefs with a coach, amounting to approximately two hours of track time per day. All drivers will receive five to six hours of track time over the weekend, complimentary coffee each morning, and complimentary water throughout the day. A BBQ dinner with sides, soft drinks, and beer will be served on Saturday night around 5:30 PM after the track closes. Event perks include HOD National and Mid-Atlantic Partner benefits from Spicy Cat Racing and Thunderlane.US. Helmet and HANS device rentals are available through HOD; HANS device rentals are also available through Spicy Cat Racing. Track car rentals are offered through Spicy Cat Racing. Track insurance is also available. A Track Damage Waiver of up to $1,000 for facility damage can be purchased for $99 per day. Parade laps are available for $50 per day during lunch. Performance coaching and data device rentals are available through Spicy Cat Racing, along with a data analysis class. Pricing for single-day registration is $300 for all run groups, while both days cost $500. A coach in-car add-on is $50 per day and is required for the A-Novice group. Pro coaching from Spicy Cat Racing for B/C/D drivers is $250 for one day (three sessions and a debrief) or $400 for two days (five sessions and a debrief). The SCR Data Analysis Class, a two-day class including lunches, is $265. The schedule will be announced closer to the event, but drivers can expect five to six hours of track time over the weekend. Property access for load-in will be available the evening before the event. Hooked on Driving limits run groups to 36 cars on track at a time, allowing for more track time and fewer cars.
