Friday at the Track (FATT) is a high performance driving event for enthusiasts at Summit Point Shenandoah Circuit on August 14. This event offers an opportunity to develop and improve driving skills in your own car on a closed road course. The FATT program teaches vehicle dynamics and precision driving in a controlled environment. Participants will learn advanced car control techniques through classroom sessions and multiple non-competitive track sessions. Novice and Intermediate drivers will receive one on one in-car instruction. Solo students have optional one on one in-car instruction. Skid pad instruction using Summit Point vehicles, including front and rear skid management, is available to all participants throughout the day. The experienced instructor corps consists of racing and high-speed driving enthusiasts and veterans. Pre-registration is required for Novice and Intermediate drivers at $389.00 per driver. Pre-registration is highly recommended for Solo drivers at $360.00 per driver. On-site, day of registration for Solo drivers is $395.00 per person, with no guarantee of available space. Miata rentals are available for Novice and Intermediate students. The fee includes state and local taxes, and applicable processing fees will be added at checkout. Confirmed Novice and Intermediate participants will be charged 5 days prior to the event date. Waitlisted participants will be charged at the time of confirmed registration. Solo participants will be charged 5 days prior to the event date. No refunds or credits will be issued for cancellations made within 5 days of the event date.
