In-car instruction and classroom workshops are available for new drivers, and participants will drive their own sports car or sports sedan, regardless of make. Participants will be placed into one of three skill level groups: novice, intermediate, or experienced/solo. Individual instructors will be assigned to novice and intermediate drivers to help them develop their skills. The event emphasizes a fun and safe learning experience, with controlled passing rules in place. Attendees can also socialize with fellow participants between sessions. You are responsible for any damages to the track, including spills or barriers, and for any tow truck or ambulance charges beyond the event's contract with Blackhawk Farms Raceway. To register, you must be at least 18 years old and bring a completed and signed Tech Inspection form. No tech inspections will be performed at the event. Helmets must be Snell SA2015, SA2020, M2015, or M2020 rated; M-rated helmets will not be allowed after December 31, 2026. Drivers and instructors must wear long pants and a long-sleeved shirt on the track. Convertibles must have an SCCA approved roll cage and attached hard top, or be a factory retractable hard top with the top up during the event. Race prepped cars require working mufflers.
