Points Event #10 will be held at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne, IN. Registration is from 7:45 AM to 8:45 AM, with tech open from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM. The course is open to walk from 8:00 AM to 9:15 AM after safety stewards clear it, and a Novice Walk is scheduled for 9:00 AM to 9:15 AM. A mandatory drivers meeting will take place from 9:15 AM to 9:30 AM, with the first car on course at 10:00 AM. Lunch breaks will be shortened to allow for more runs; participants should pack a lunch or arrange for delivery. The event fee for Points Event #10 is $45. Non-SCCA members must purchase a Weekend Membership for $25. A discount of $8 is available for those who pre-register and pay on Motorsportsreg.com. All payments will be processed when registration closes. All participants must sign the SCCA insurance waiver and hold a valid driver's license. Drivers under 18 must have a minor waiver signed by both parents; contact FWSCCA for details. The event will run rain or shine. Minors, whether competing or spectating, must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the entire event. Minor competitors require both parents or legal guardians to sign a Minor Liability Waiver, and one parent or legal guardian must remain at the event site until completion. For safety, 4-wheel drive vehicles (not AWD) and vehicles with a high center of gravity and narrow track width are not permitted due to rollover risk. Examples of excluded vehicles include those on light truck rated tires, those with a 4-wheel drive transfer case, full-size vans, mini-vans, vehicles with a lift kit, or a wheelbase exceeding 116 inches. The Solo Chairman, Event Chairman, or Solo Safety Steward may deem any vehicle at risk of rollover as excluded. Examples of excluded vehicles include the Suzuki Samurai, Jeep CJ series, Geo Sidekick, Chevy Blazer, Ford Explorer, Dodge Caravan, Honda Odyssey, Ford F150 4WD, Dodge Ram 4WD, and Chevy Silverado 4WD. Competitors must complete their scheduled work assignments to be eligible for event trophies or year-end points. Failure to complete a work assignment will result in forfeiture of runs, and no refund of the entry fee. If a work assignment is not completed after runs, the competitor will be disqualified from the event, lose eligibility for trophies, and will not score year-end points. Repeated instances of skipping work assignments may lead to exclusion from future events at the Solo Chairman’s discretion. Car numbers must be a minimum of 8 inches high with a 1.25 inch stroke, and class letters must be a minimum of 4 inches high with a 0.75 inch stroke. They must contrast with the car's paint. Tape numbers are allowed if they meet size and contrast requirements and are on the car before tech. Tape will be provided at the event. "Shoe polish" numbers are not allowed. Numbers can be placed on rear-side windows if the window is adequately tinted for high contrast. Loaner helmets are available, but helmets must meet Snell Foundation standards (SA2020, SA2015, SA2010, SAH2010, M2020D, M2020R, M2015, M2010, K2020, K2015, K2010), SFI standards (31.1/2020, 31.1/2015, 31.1/2010, 41.1/2020, 41.1/2015, 41.1/2010), or FIA Standards (8859-2020, 8860-2018, 8860-2018-ABP, 8859, 2015, 8860-2010). Helmets must fit securely, provide adequate peripheral vision, and have the chin strap securely fastened.
