The National Capital and Tarheel Chapters present a two day ///M Club Day driving event at the BMW Performance Center East in Greer, South Carolina on October 31 and November 1, 2026. This is the 23rd year this event has been sponsored with the BMW Performance Center. The focus of this event is to improve driving skills through driving exercises, classroom instruction, and competitive events. No helmets or previous driving school experience are required. All skill levels are welcome. Attendees must be 18 years or older and possess a valid driver's license. The event offers instruction on proper driving position, vehicle dynamics, car control skills, weight transfer, oversteer and understeer, and improved vision. The day is divided into morning and afternoon sessions featuring skill exercises and competitive events such as skid pad wet and dry courses, braking and handling practice, autocross, and lapping. Current model BMW ///M Cars are provided for the event, along with world class instructors, gas, tires, and lunch. The Performance Center staff continually makes changes to the program and available cars. The cost is $1,000.00 per day per driver. This includes driving Performance Center ///M cars, tires, gas, instructors, and lunch at the Performance Center. Attendees can register for one or both days. Each day's program is the same. Two drivers will share a car throughout the day. To drive a car by yourself for the entire day without sharing, register for two drivers and notify the registrar; the cost for this option is $2,000. All drivers must be BMW CCA members, or attend with a club member who pays for the event. Each BMW CCA member can bring up to three guests under their membership, registration, and payment. NCC and Tarheel chapter members receive first acceptance priority until February 28, 2026. After this date, slots are open first come, first served to all qualified BMW CCA members. Registration on MotorsportReg.com places you in a queue for acceptance, which begins on or about March 1, 2026. Attendees are responsible for their own travel expenses, meals, and lodging. The suggested event hotel is the Greenville Marriott, offering a special BMW rate that includes breakfast buffet for up to two people and internet service. Register at www.marriott.com/GSPAP and use "BMW" as the Corporate code. No breakfast service is available at the Performance Center on Saturday or Sunday morning. Non-driving guests are welcome at weekend social events, but are not allowed on track or to ride in cars during drive days. There is no provision for minors under 18 years old at the Performance Center while parents are driving. A tentative schedule includes an optional BMW Foundation tour at 4:00 PM and a group dinner at 6:00 PM on Friday, October 30. On Saturday, October 31, and Sunday, November 1, the meet time at the Performance Center is 8:00 AM, the drive day begins at 8:15 AM, and ends at 5:00 PM. A group dinner is scheduled for Saturday at 6:00 PM. Contact BMW CCA Headquarters to become a member of the NCC or Tarheel chapters for priority acceptance.
