ETRSCCA Solo Points #9 takes place at Bristol Motor Speedway in Bristol, TN. Registration and technical inspection are open from 8:00 AM to 9:15 AM. The course is ready for walking at 8:00 AM, with Novice Walks beginning at 8:30 AM. Course walking closes at 9:30 AM, followed by the Driver's Meeting at 9:30 AM. Runs begin at 10:00 AM. We strongly encourage all participants, especially novices, to be on site by 7:30 AM. Upon arrival, you must sign the waiver, check-in at the trailer, and complete technical inspection before participating in course walks. The sound policy has a hard limit of 96 db; details are available on the Facebook page and Forum. If you receive a DNF on consecutive runs, a qualified ETR driver ride-along is required for your next run. Site restrictions prohibit donuts, burnouts, or other forms of "hoonage" on or around the event site to maintain respect for our venues. Please drive respectfully to and from the event. Technical inspection is required for all cars before running to ensure safety and compliance. Key inspection points include a securely bolted battery, tires with no cord showing, good operating condition of wheel bearings, shocks, steering, and suspension, functioning seat belts, a firm brake pedal with proper fluid levels, removal of all loose items, removal of unbolted hubcaps and wheel rings, all lugs present and tight, safe and positive throttle return action, and no excessive fluid leaks. Annual Tech Stickers are available for $3.00, requiring permanent classing letters and numbers for eligibility. Your car's numbers and class designation must be on both sides and legible from 100 feet away while in motion. Novices must include "N" as the first letter in their class designation (e.g., NAS, NEST, NXP). Two-driver cars must follow SCCA number rules: the first driver selects a number from 0-99, and the co-driver selects the same number plus 100 (e.g., 75 and 175, or 4 and 104). Single-driver cars can select any number between 0-99. Selecting a number greater than 99 will identify you as a co-driver. All competitors and passengers must sign the on-site SCCA waiver. SCCA membership cards will be verified at check-in. Non-members must register as SCCA weekend members. Passengers in competition cars must be weekend members, but there is no fee for passengers. Participants under 18 years of age must have a completed SCCA Minor Annual Waiver. This can be pre-printed, completed in color, and notarized, or completed on site with both parents or legal guardians present and witnessed by an adult SCCA Member. Both parents must sign, or a single parent can provide sole guardianship documentation. Loaner helmets are available but limited, so drivers are encouraged to bring their own SCCA-approved helmets.
