Drivers Club Member Day on September 4 at NJMP Thunderbolt is exclusively for New Jersey Motorsports Park Driver's Club members or their invited guests. Non-members interested in joining the club can find information at https://njmp.com/the-drivers-club/. Guests of a Member must submit their driving resume and credentials to Joe Mills at jmills@njmp.com before registering. All drivers must be at least 17 years old and hold a valid driver's license. Youth drivers aged 15 and older with a current competition license from an NJMP-approved organization may be permitted to drive; they should contact Joe Mills at jmills@njmp.com to confirm eligibility prior to registration. The preliminary schedule includes Breakfast at 7:00 AM, Registration and Tech Inspection at 7:30 AM, a Drivers Meeting at 8:30 AM, and Hot Track at 9:00 AM. Lunch will be held at a time to be determined. Driver classes are Green for novice drivers (non-passing, with classroom instruction and pace car leading), White for intermediate drivers (point-by passing in designated areas), Red for advanced drivers (expanded point-by passing), and Yellow for open wheel and spec racer cars (expanded point passing, if possible with arm restraints).
