DRIFT NIRVANA® is an open drift event for new and experienced drifters at Summit Point's Jefferson Circuit / Washington Circuit Combo on August 16. This is a one-day event running rain or shine, hot or cold; it may be rescheduled or paused for more significant weather. Pre-registration for the Jefferson Circuit / Washington Circuit Combo is $180 and includes the gate fee. On-site pricing is $195 and does not include the gate fee. Pre-registration is highly recommended for efficient check-in. Paddock access opens at 6 PM the night before the event, and gates remain open overnight. Registration and check-in open at 7:00 AM, followed by tech inspection at 8:00 AM. A mandatory driver's meeting will be held at 8:45 AM, where fuel and concession options will be announced. Concessions accept credit and debit card transactions only. Drivers must have a valid driver's license for a minimum of 6 months. Drivers aged 16-17 need a parent or guardian present to sign a minor waiver. Helmets (SA2015 or newer), closed-toe shoes, and long pants are required for all drivers. Tandem qualified drivers also require a fire suit, fire-resistant shoes, and fire-resistant gloves. Vehicles must be RWD and 2WD, though AWD can be converted to RWD. Trucks, SUVs, and 4x4s are allowed on a case-by-case basis with prior approval, and electric vehicles are prohibited without prior written approval. All body panels must be attached, and the sound decibel limit is 103. Convertibles need factory-installed roll-over protection or an aftermarket roll bar meeting SCCA GCR standards. Tow hooks or pull loops are required front and rear. The passenger's seat must offer the same safety protection as the driver's. Tandem prepared vehicles require a 6-point cage, double door bars, a fixed back racing seat, and a 5-point racing harness. Car numbers will be assigned at check-in. Passengers must be at least 16 years old with a valid ID, and those aged 16-17 require a parent or guardian present to sign a minor waiver. Non-tandem passengers need the same safety equipment as non-tandem drivers, and tandem passengers require the same safety equipment as tandem drivers. Vehicles must be in safe mechanical condition; refunds will not be issued for vehicles that do not pass tech inspection. Non-compliance by passengers may result in the driver's removal without a refund. No refunds or credits will be issued for cancellations made within 5 days of the event date. Do not park in tech inspection lanes, on or near main arteries to courses or exits, or on the bridge to Shenandoah Circuit. Spectator parking for Shenandoah is located before the bridge to Shenandoah Circuit. For any questions regarding requirements, contact motorsports@summitpointmotorsports.com.
