CSCC 2026 Rallycross #2- Dirt Cup is a timed driving competition held at the Cochrane and District Ag Society in Cochrane, AB. Entrants will drive one at a time along a cone defined course on a mixture of dirt, gravel, ice, and snow. This Rallycross event follows the General Competition Rules of the Canadian Association of Rallysport, the current CARS Rally Cross Regulations, and the Rally West Region. These publications are available online at www.carsrally.ca. The event schedule begins with Setup, Registration, and Course Walk from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM, with an additional Course Walk from 8:45 AM to 9:15 AM. The Drivers Meeting is from 9:15 AM to 9:30 AM. Driving sessions are scheduled from 9:45 AM to 1:00 PM and 1:45 PM to 4:00 PM. A lunch break is from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM, though it may shift to 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A Wrap-up Meeting is from 4:00 PM to 4:15 PM, followed by Fun Runs and Tear down from 4:15 PM to 5:00 PM. Participants are expected to work as track marshals when not driving or in the staging area; recorded times require marshal duty. Registration includes showing your waiver and tech form. Pricing is $74 for CSCC, CARS, or WCMA affiliated club members, and $99 for the general public. Online registration is required. You can save money on all Rallycross events with a 2026 CSCC Membership. Participants should bring their own assortment of food, drinks, and snacks. All vehicles must have an exhaust system including a muffler, and excessively noisy vehicles may be refused entry. Waivers are required: participants must download, print, and bring a Vehicle Technical Self-Declaration and sign the waiver for the Cochrane and District Ag Centre and the CARS Annual Waiver. Minors must sign the designated portion of the speedwaiver. Helmets are mandatory for all occupants while on track. Accepted helmet certifications include the most current or two most recent Snell, FIA, or SFI standards. Loaner helmets are not available. Cars are classed by drivetrain (FWD, RWD, AWD) with Overall and Ladies Challenge Classes. Permitted tires include winter, gravel, all season, and all weather tires. Studded tires that are DOT approved and manufactured with studs are allowed if they retain original studding. Studs installed post-manufacture must protrude no more than 3.5mm, meet TSMI specifications (size 12, 13, 15, or 16), have a single base flange, cylindrical body, and carbide tip with a maximum diameter of 2.5mm. Studs must be mounted in DOT studdable tires with molded holes, with a maximum of 130 studs per tire. Homemade, competition, specialty, off road, or custom studs are prohibited. The event will only proceed if organizers deem conditions safe; cancelled events will receive a credit for a future event.
