The March Hare's "Continuing Education" Rally takes place on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Sunset Overlook, 11604 Bluff Road, Columbia, Illinois 62236. This touring road rally covers approximately 75 miles through Monroe County, Illinois, providing a social event and an exercise in simple route following. The event is expected to last about 2.5 hours, starting and finishing at Sunset Overlook. Several checkpoints are along the route, with timing at multiple locations. Participants need a vehicle, a driver, a navigator, a smartphone or tablet with the Richta GPS Competitor App installed, a clipboard, a calculator, pencils, and paper. The Richta app is essential for timing and scoring. You can find more information about the app at richtarally.com or drscca.org/rally/using-the-richta-competitor-app. The entry fee is $20.00 per team for SCCA members (at least one participant is an SCCA member) and $45.00 per team for non-members. The non-member fee includes a $25.00 SCCA Weekend Membership for the primary entrant. The field is limited to 25 teams. Pre-event registration is required via MotorsportReg.com and closes on Wednesday, September 9, at 11:59 p.m. Check-in is from noon to 1 p.m. on September 12, followed by a safety meeting at 1 p.m. The first car departs at 1:30 p.m., with the first car arriving at the finish around 5 p.m. For more information, contact J.
