CART, in partnership with New England Region SCCA, presents the 2026 Time Trial Series, including Time Trial 2 at Thompson Speedway. This event takes place on Thompson Speedway's 1.7-mile clockwise road course. This Time Attack format allows competitors to aim for their best lap times. The event includes three timed 15-20 minute sessions, a traditional three-lap Time Trial, and open track time to conclude. CART Time Trials offer significant track time. Volunteers receive benefits such as a waived SCCA weekend membership if needed, lunch, and a free autocross. Volunteer roles include trackside flaggers or pit helpers.
