Petrol and the Road presents the Bourbon, Bluegrass & Backroads Fall Drive, a rally taking place October 15-17, 2026, in Kentucky. The rally will feature scenic Kentucky backroad drives with a mix of winding roads, rolling hills, bourbon country, small towns, crisp October air, and peak fall colors. This event welcomes both Vintage Classic and Modern Classic vehicles. The event begins on Thursday, October 15, with optional arrival and rally check-in starting at 4:00 PM, followed by an evening meet and greet from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Friday, October 16, starts with an 8:00 AM drivers meeting, an 8:30 AM rally launch, scenic backroad drives, a midday lunch stop, and an evening GTG plus a Bourbon Swap/Tasting. Saturday, October 17, also features an 8:00 AM drivers meeting, an 8:30 AM rally launch, additional scenic routes and a lunch stop, and a final Saturday night GTG. Sunday is departure day. Participation requires an application process. Registration costs $400 for Car & Driver, and $500 for Car, Driver & Co-Pilot. Lodging at a host lodge, which includes campground options, is handled on a first-come, first-served basis once applications are approved.
