The BMW CCA, National Capital Chapter (NCC) presents the BimmerWorld Race School on October 30-31, 2026 at the Main Circuit at Summit Point. This event will run concurrently with the Halloween HPDE on the main track. The school is designed for advanced BMW CCA HPDE students and instructors, as well as participants with equivalent driving experience from other recognized organizations, who are considering BMW CCA Club Racing or wish to advance their driving skills. The BimmerWorld BMW CCA Racing School offers a safe, fun, and intensive learning experience, focusing on performance driving and the fundamentals of BMW Club Racing. The weekend includes eight classroom sessions and eight track sessions. The curriculum covers advanced situational awareness, car communication, predictability, safe passing, closed-circuit performance driving, competitive passing techniques, driver and race car preparation, and BMW CCA Club racing rules. On the track, students will experience corner passing, three-wide driving at speed, green-flag practice starts, and a simulated race exercise under the guidance of BimmerWorld BMW CCA Club Racing Instructors and On-track Coaches. Successful completion of the school with demonstrated skills will qualify participants to apply for a rookie BMW CCA Club Race license. Students will drive their own cars. While instructors will not ride in the car with students, they will engage, observe, and facilitate on-track exercises from their own vehicles. After each track session, instructors and students review on-track activities. Safety is the first priority. Race-prepared cars are not required, nor are driving suits, racing seats, or harnesses. A 2015 or newer helmet is required. Students are observed on track and monitored in the classroom for engagement, awareness, and driving skill. Attitude plays a significant role in graduation. The cost for Friday and Saturday is $850. There is a maximum of 20 students. All interested student candidates must contact Mike Saul with their high performance driving experience at clubracechair@nccbmwcca.org. Contact Mike Saul at clubracechair@nccbmwcca.org if you have questions about the school.
