The Buccaneer Region SCCA presents the Around Again Road Rally, a Course style TSD rally event, on Saturday, August 22nd, 2026. This is the latest event in the 2026 Buccaneer Region SCCA Road Rally Championship. Check-in begins at 9:15am, with the first car departing at 10:00am. The rally starts at Burger King, 1620 S 6th St, Macclenny, FL 32063, and finishes at Sixth Street Steakhouse, 1199 S 6th St, Macclenny, FL 32063. The estimated duration is 93 miles over 2 to 2.5 hours, with breaks allowed. The first car is estimated to arrive at 12:15pm, and the award ceremony is estimated for 1:00pm. Participants will navigate paved public roads using predefined route instructions and the Richta Road Rally mobile application, departing one minute apart. Unlike Tour style rallies, this event introduces Principal Road style instructions, such as "Left at 4th opportunity", rather than street names and speeds for every turn. Scoring is based on arrival times at five unmanned checkpoints and a sixth checkpoint at the finishing location. Lunch and awards will be available at the finishing restaurant, and attendees are responsible for their own food purchases. Any car meeting Florida state laws and minimum insurance requirements is allowed. Each car must have at least two people, a driver and a navigator, with as many occupants as there are seatbelts. A valid driver's license and proof of insurance are required at on-site registration. There are three classes for this rally: Stock, Limited, and Seat of Your Pants (SOP). Stock class, recommended for novices, uses the vehicle's stock odometer, a smartphone as a calculator, and a stopwatch. Limited class allows the car's built-in navigation for distance or a third party GPS tracking app, provided information is not transferable to the calculating device. SOP class relies on the odometer, pens/pencils, stopwatch, and instincts, without any calculator. Online registration closes on Thursday, August 20th at 11:59pm. The registration fee is $25 for SCCA members and $50 for non-SCCA members, which includes a required weekend membership. A dedicated smartphone with the Richta Competitor mobile app (downloadable at richtarally.com) is required and cannot be used while the rally is active. Recommended equipment includes a clipboard, pencils/pens, highlighters, stopwatches, a calculator, and a secondary or third smartphone.
