Advanced Wide Open Wednesday (WoW+) is an upgraded track day program for experienced enthusiasts at Utah Motorsports Campus in Grantsville, UT. This program allows participants to drive street or race-prepared cars at speed on the racetrack in a controlled, non-competitive environment with limited passing zones. The event focuses on sharpening driving skills through extended open-lapping sessions with strategic car releases, ensuring a safe and controlled atmosphere. Passing is strictly limited to designated zones and requires a point-by from the lead driver. This is a non-competitive event, and aggressive driving, passing in corners or braking zones, or passing without a point-by will not be tolerated. Track officials reserve the right to remove any driver for unsafe behavior without a refund. WoW+ is designed for experienced drivers who are comfortable with higher speeds and controlled traffic. To participate, drivers must have HPDE2 (or higher) certification or a recognized racing license, or a certificate of completion from the UMC REV Performance Driving Program. Participants must present their credentials to Box Office staff during check-in. EV vehicles are not permitted. Track laps cost $120 per one-hour session, with a maximum of 20 cars per session. Helmets are required and must be SNELL rated; dirt bike or motorcycle helmets are not allowed. Helmet rentals are available for $25. Convertibles must have a certified factory or aftermarket roll bar, or factory rollover protection stated in the owner’s manual. Sessions will run regardless of weather. There are four sessions available: Session 1 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Session 2 from 4:10 PM to 5:10 PM, Session 3 from 5:20 PM to 6:20 PM, and Session 4 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Designated passing zones for the East Track include the Front Straight, Turn 7 to Turn 8, and Clubhouse Straight. All participants must check in at least 30 minutes prior to their session to receive a wristband and vehicle sticker. A valid driver’s license and closed-toe shoes are required. A self-tech inspection form must be completed; copies will be available at the Box Office. Participants are responsible for ensuring their vehicle is safe and for any damage caused to track property. Late arrivals or missed sessions will not be refunded. Friends and family are welcome to watch from the cold pits, grandstands, or other designated areas but are not allowed on Pit Road. All spectators must check in and complete a waiver. Minors (16-18) require a parent or legal guardian to complete a waiver on-site, or a notarized waiver if printed online. Drones are not permitted.
