The ACE Event AutoX at Stratotech Park in Sturgeon County, Alberta, is capped at 34 entries. Waitlisted entrants will be accommodated on a first come, first served basis if cancellations occur. This event on August 29, 2026, is part of the ACE 2026 Championship. Gates open for all competitors at 9:30 AM, followed by course walking at 9:40 AM. Mandatory on-site check-in and vehicle tech inspection close at 10:15 AM, with a mandatory drivers meeting at 10:30 AM. The first car is on track at 10:45 AM. There will be an approximate lunch break at 12:30 PM, with afternoon runs beginning around 1:30 PM. Anyone not checked in by 10:15 AM will not be allowed to run. Keep noise to a minimum before 10:00 AM; no unnecessary driving or revving engines. Registration for WCMA members is $115 online, or $125 for late sign-up. Non-members pay $125 online, or $135 for late sign-up. Online registration closes 60 hours before the event starts (Wednesday at 2:00 PM), and late sign-up closes 18 hours before the event starts (Friday at 2:00 PM). WCMA members must use the discount code "ACEWCMA" at checkout. Cash is not accepted; online payment via credit card, pre-paid credit card, or Visa debit card is required. A 2026 ACE Membership is available for $60 (single) or $100 (family). All waivers must be completed using the Speed Waiver online process, and you should be prepared to show your waiver on your phone at on-site registration. Participants must bring their own helmet meeting specified safety standards. Approved certifications include Snell SA2025, M2025D, M2025R, SA2020, M2020D, M2020R; FIA 8859-2015, 8860-2018, 8860-2018 ABP, 8859-2020; SFI Foundation 31.1/2020, 31.1/2015; and ECE R22.05 or R22.06. Snell SA2015 and M2015 are not valid after December 31, 2026. ECE R22.05 and R22.06 helmets expire ten years after their manufacture date. All helmets must pass a tech inspection in 2026. Heartland Ford swag will be drawn for as awards. Championship participation is not mandatory but is available in several Super Classes: Street 1, Street 2, STOUR, Street Prepared, Xtreme/CAM, Modified, Ladies, and Rookies. Scoring for the championship is based on the June 20th Stratotech event plus the best of 3 of 5 events at Tofield. A minimum of one scored event at each venue is required to qualify for the championship. No alcohol or drugs are permitted at the venue, and no stunting, drifting, burnouts, or hooning is allowed. Drivers must obey all speed limits and drive respectfully on surrounding roads. This is a volunteer based sport; participants must work their assigned shifts in both the morning and afternoon, or their results will be forfeited, and they may be banned from future events. Personal vehicle insurance is void when competing, and attempting to make a claim is considered insurance fraud. The SASC carries insurance to protect the venue.
