ACCO presents Autocross Events 9 and 10 at Mt. Bachelor West Village in Bend, OR, on September 12 and September 13. The event schedule on both days is as follows: gates open at 7:00 AM, registration and tech inspection open at 7:15 AM, and the course walk opens at 7:30 AM. Registration closes promptly at 8:00 AM with no late exceptions. A novice course walk begins at 8:00 AM at the start line. Tech inspection closes at 8:15 AM, followed by the course walk closing at 8:15 AM and a driver's meeting at 8:20 AM. Competition starts at 9:00 AM. Lunch is scheduled from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, with the afternoon session starting at 1:00 PM. Course changeover and cleanup are targeted for 4:00 PM. A Saturday night potluck will be held around 6:00 PM; a sign-up sheet will be sent to registered participants, and ACCO will provide the main course. Event fees are $40 per event for all drivers, who are considered ACCO members. Student members pay $15 per event. High school students must be at least 16 years old with a valid, unrestricted driver's license and accompanied by a parent or legal guardian to sign the waiver. All passengers must be licensed drivers due to insurance requirements. Upon arrival, drivers should check in at the registration table to receive a checkered-flag wristband and course map. Drivers and passengers must wear a Pit Pass wristband and sign the waiver form to enter the pit area. Vehicles must be ready for tech inspection, with all loose items removed from the interior and trunk. A SNELL 2015 or newer helmet is recommended, with limited loaner helmets available. SCCA Legal Car Numbers must be displayed on both sides of the vehicle without tape; ACCO will sell SCCA Spec numbers at each event for $5 per pair (e.g., $25 for STH 18 or $15 for DS 8). NFT or NOV numbers can be loaned with a driver's license as collateral. Noise levels will be monitored to ensure vehicles do not exceed 95.9 db; vehicles over this limit will require corrective action. Dry RV camping is available at Mt. Bachelor for $10 through ACCO, with electric spots at an additional charge. No smoking or vaping is permitted on any Mt. Bachelor properties. Attendees are asked to observe speed limits, be courteous, and refrain from burnouts, tire warm-ups, off-course racing, excessive noise, or "hot-dogging"; failure to comply will result in immediate expulsion from the event.
